A patron on a Pittsburg train reported that she saw a man with what she believed was a gun in the small of his back. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, wearing a red knit cap, a long black shirt and dark pants. Both the suspect and reporting party off-boarded at North Concord. The reporting party did not stand by. The suspect was seen on camera inside the paid area, making a phone call. Trains were held out of the station while officers responded. Responding officers detained the man and determined that he did not have any weapons. The man did have a bottle that the reporting party may have mistaken for a weapon. Trains were delayed about three minutes as a result of this incident. TSOC was notified.
