Officers detained Carl Crane (25 years old, Novato) for fare evasion at the Pleasant Hill Station. A records check revealed an active $7,500 warrant for Crane's arrest. Crane was arrested for the warrant and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.

A patron reported the theft of their briefcase while on a Pittsburg train. The victim placed the briefcase on the floor. As the train approached the Pittsburg Station the victim noticed his briefcase was gone. The briefcase contained a ring, a laptop, a pair of headphones, a camera, an Apple watch charger and miscellaneous books.

Fare Evasion/Resisting Arrest

Embarcadero - 1709-1261

Officers stopped a male (Londell Gulley, 21 years, San Francisco) and a female (Cassidy Garcia, 23 years, San Francisco) as they fare evaded out of the Embarcadero Station. Gulley ran from the officers and was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Garcia was cited and released. Gulley was cited for fare evasion and was booked for resisting arrest.

Officers stopped a male (Johnny Rogers, 30 years, Berkeley) for fare evasion at the Fruitvale Station. A records check showed Rogers had two no bail arrest warrants for burglary and robbery issued by ACSO. Rogers was cited for fare evasion and was booked on the warrants.

Concord - 1709-1253

Officers responded to the Concord Station for a report of a female fare evader (Marleni Sanchez, 19 years, Oakland) who battered a BART employee. Marleni called her boyfriend (Joshua Molina, 20 years, Concord) who responded to the station and also attempted to batter a BART Employee. An officer stopped Molina and Molina struggled with the officer. Force was used to place Molina under arrest and he was booked into jail. Sanchez was booked into jail for battery and resisting arrest. Sanchez and Molina were issued prohibition orders.

Lake Merritt - 1709-1218

Officers detained a female (Sabrina Whitlock, 56 years old, Oakland) for fare evasion at the Lake Merritt BART Station. Whitlock initially falsely identified herself to officers. A warrants check revealed that Whitlock had an outstanding theft warrant and a stay away order from BART Stations. Whitlock was arrested for the outstanding warrant, providing false identification, and violation of a court order. Whitlock was booked into Santa Rita County Jail.

Officers detained a male (Jorge Mares, 26 years old, Vallejo) after they witnessed him fare evade at the El Cerrito Del Norte BART Station. A warrants check revealed that Mares had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Mares was booked into Martinez Detention Facility on the warrant.

 Auto Burglary (Arrest)

Pittsburg/Bay Point - 1709-1246

An officer on patrol saw a vehicle slowly driving through the parking lot of the Pittsburg Station. A male (Lucas Dunning, 24 years, Pittsburg) exited the vehicle, disappeared between two parked cars and returned to the vehicle with an object in his hands. The officer made an investigative traffic stop on the vehicle and discovered Dunning possessed property taken from the parked car. Dunning was placed under arrest for possession of stolen property. Follow-up revealed Dunning burglarized the parked car. Dunning was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.
