A male (James TAYLOE, 30, San Francisco) was detained for possible violation of a court order. That violation was found to be without merit. However, Taylor had an outstanding $25,000 arrest warrant for assault, held by Walnut Creek PD. Taylor was arrested and booked at the SF County Jail.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male on the platform. Officers detained the man (Daniel CARTER, 40, Emeryville) and discovered he was on probation and had a stay-away order from all BART stations. Carter was arrested and booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
A patron reported an individual who was possibly trying to steal a bicycle. The officer detained Blake Campbell (32 years old out of San Francisco) who had an outstanding $15k misdemeanor issued out of San Mateo County for a theft related offense. Campbell was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the warrant. The officers were unable to substantiate the bicycle theft allegation.
Patrons reported a male acting erratically on board a train. Officers detained the man and found that he had an outstanding $10,000 arrest warrant for driving on a suspended license, held by Albany PD. The man was arrested on his warrant and was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
Terry Horton (49 years old, Oakland) was contacted for suspicious activity. Horton was arrested for a probation violation (stay away from all BART Stations) and being in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers were on patrol and saw a male (Ahmed Shairzai, 43 years, San Lorenzo) loitering near a ticket machine and acting suspicious. Shairzai was in the process of altering/forging BART tickets. Shairzai was detained and records showed he was on probation for altering/forging tickets. Shairzai was booked into jail on the listed charges.
A witness reported that a male suspect battered a second adult male aboard a Daly City bound train. The victim, who sustained a minor facial injury, advised responding officers he was not battered. Officers were unable the potential suspect (black male wearing white headphones, white tennis shoes and a gray hoodie), whose description was provided by the witness. The victim was transported to the hospital as he was also intoxicated.
An officer detained a male for possible possession of stolen property (possession of 3 bicycles) at the Walnut Creek Station. A records check showed the male was on probation with a full search clause. A search revealed the male was in possession of narcotics and was placed under arrest. The bicycles were recovered and held for safe keeping, pending an on-going investigation. The male was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on possession of narcotics and a probation violation.
Officers detained a suspicious male and learned that he had two outstanding arrest warrants: $25,000 for theft, possession of stolen property and being under the influence of narcotics; and $5,000 for fraud, both held by Palo Alto PD.
